“The pride I feel knowing that I’m an ACPS graduate, brings me great joy every day.  I undertook the course to help feed my curiosity, build on my knowledge and give me the base to launch my personal styling business.”

Thank you, Australian College of Professional Styling for setting me up for success as a Personal Stylist.

I had started my business prior to beginning the course with a strong desire to help and encourage confidence in women who have lost themselves whether it be in work, motherhood or life in general.

By completing the course, I gathered more knowledge which enabled me to better assist my clients.  The course gave me a rich history of fashion, an insider’s look into what styling is truly like and the many options of work I could take within the industry.

As an older student who had worked in creative industries for over 20 years, I knew a lot of what life was really like in the business world. So while this information wasn’t new to me, it certainly reminded me and, at the same time, helped build my confidence.

Becoming a self-employed, business owner is a big deal. The pride I feel knowing that I’m an ACPS graduate, brings me great joy every day.  I undertook the course to help feed my curiosity, build on my knowledge and give me the base to launch my personal styling business.  The course is rich in information, tips and tricks and I love that it helped me perfect the art of ‘the stack’!  I used one recently to talk about my love of leopard print!

My clients are often time poor and choose comfort or ease over everything when it comes to getting dressed.  Confusion often reigns too. There is so much choice or a particular look that they want to achieve but don’t know how to go about it. With the knowledge I gained from my studies, I feel incredibly well-equipped to serve my clients in the best way possible and resolve these issues for them.
